An IT Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets within the IT sector. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen and excellent communication skills to effectively promote and sell IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients through market research and networking.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects and leads.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of IT products and services.
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with clients.
- Ensure sales targets and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
- Stay updated with the latest IT products, services, and industry trends.
- Act as a consultant to clients, providing them with expert advice on IT solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Utilize CRM systems to track and manage sales processes.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT sales or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
